Title- Negative Space Blow and Kiss Acrylic Pour

Introduction- Our class has been learning about acrylic pours this term and at the end of last term. This is our second acrylic painting that we have done and it is called a negative space blow and kiss acrylic pour. A Negative Space Blow and Kiss Acrylic Pour is a acrylic pour that you don't pour but instead you blow and kiss it (not literally.)

Our  W.A.L.T- was to create a negative space acrylic pour.

Explain -  Frist we prepared a board by putting one thin layer of white paint on the board to make sure that the board is sealed. After letting it dry we got a full cup of white paint and poured it in the middle of the board. Than we moved the board around so that the wet white paint covered the board. Next we got 3 pumps of a few colours in a cup and poured it in one corner of the board. Than we grabbed a straw or two and blowed the colours around the board to make a feather like pattern. Than when were done we put a few dots of coloured paint on the corners and dab it with a balloon. Don't forget to leave a lot of white space.

Reflection- My Negative Space Blow and Kiss Acrylic Pour didn't have much negative space but that is part of the learning process and if you mess up you improve  your mistakes next time. So next time I do a Negative Space Blow and Kiss Acrylic Pour I will try and leave more of a negative space.

Question - Have you ever done any type of acrylic pour? And What is your favourite type of paint art to create.

Logic maths puzzle.

Walt ; we are learning to think outside the box.  Today  our teacher showed us a paper thing and we were told to get into pairs so me and my friend Tyla had a go and Tyla broke our first attempt and she says it is my fault (its not). This is our second attempt and it is better than our first one only that it is floppy.   First we got an A5 piece of card and we folded it in half horizontally. Then we cut one side into 3 pieces and cut a small rectangle out of the other side. Lastly you will need to fold op the middle piece and your done. This was a lot of of fun and you should try to make it as well. I think this is an exercise from one of the other teachers for maths week.
